New Year, New Challenges!

» 3 January, 2015 » Books » 14 comments

Reading challenges are new to me and they all sound so fun! I’ve already told you I am taking on the 2015 Prequel & Sequel Challenge. I’ve also set my Goodreads challenge at 50 books for this year. Well, here are a few more challenges I’ve decided to join! I may have bitten off more than I can chew, but it’s all in the name of fun.

My goal is to read 25 fantasy books this year! Track my progress here!

I’m doing my own unique twist on the 365 Days of YA challenge. I will be reading a book a month for this challenge. Check out the challenge and my progress here!

Jan-Mar Bookish Bingo

I may be taking on too many challenges at once, but I can’t help myself with this one. Bingo just sounds so fun! My personal goal will be to complete one Bingo, although I don’t know which one yet! I’ll update you when I decide. Track my progress here!

Good luck with reaching your goals! I love fantasy, it’s my favorite genre, so I say go for it! I’ll definitely be reviewing a lot of fantasy here on the blog. I just checked out the 2015 Blog Discussion Challenge. Sounds really cool! I might sign up for it next year, after getting a little more blogging experience under my belt. Good luck with that πŸ™‚

Awesome start to Bookish Bingo! I’m not actually reading 365 books, I’m only going for 12! I’m just using that info graphic to guide my reading choices. The 365 challenge is really neat because you get to basically make your own individual challenge based on the info graphic. Good luck with your challenges!

I think I’ve seen the Bingo you’re talking about and you’re right – the one you’re doing is much bigger and seems hard! I definitely can’t read a book a day either! I’m only doing 12 books for my 365 challenge, I am using the info graphic to guide my reading choices. You can make the 365 challenge into basically anything you want!

I’m doing a form of Bingo and the Fantasy one, too! I can’t wait πŸ˜€ I’m really excited about starting fresh with reading this year – last year I bought/moved into a new house, so for three months I only read like 2 books πŸ™ I have high hopes for 2015!

I saw your bingo yesterday! Sounds fun! I love making reading into a game. And I’m super indecisive, so having challenges to help pick out my next read is pretty helpful. I told my fiancΓ© I wanted to read 50 books this year and he thinks I’m crazy. I’ve been reading more like 10 books a year for a few years, but I’m making reading a priority this year so this year will be different. I might be crazy, but I’m giving it a try! Good luck Jessi πŸ™‚

I LOVE fantasy too! It’s pretty much all I ever read haha. I’ve only ever read a handful of contemporary… I always feel like they are boring compared to fantasy haha! But I want to explore more contemporary this year. I have lots of fantasy series already lined up to read next though πŸ™‚
