April Wrap Up

Blogging & Reading – I had a pretty great blogging month in April! I amazingly got a lot of blogging done, with 11 posts in total, and I still got a lot of reading done too! I have been in a big reading mood for over a month now. Reading multiple books at once and also mixing mediums is really speeding up my reading! A Gathering of Shadows was definitely my favorite read of the month!

YALLWEST – I attended YALLWEST, which is a YA book festival similar to YALLFEST on the east coast of the US but on the west coast. YALLWEST was totally the highlight of my month! I vlogged my experience and I’m still working on editing that for you guys (so much footage!). I’ll be posting a wrap up of that later this month, along with the vlog for those of you interested. I loved meeting and hanging out with other bookish people, making new friends, not to mention I met some of my favorite authors!! (Leigh Bardugo in the image above case and point. DO YOU SEE HOW HAPPY I AM??) I met a bunch of authors, GOT books signed, and I even got some amazing ARCs too! There were also panels going on and I loved hearing these talented authors talk about their books and writing. I can’t wait to go back next year, I had an absolute blast.

Yay, what a great month! It makes me happy that A Gathering of Shadows was your favorite book. 🙂 Also, that’s such a nice picture of you and Leigh Bardugo!

LEIGH BARDUGO IS A GOD AMONG MEN. I’m so intrigued by YALLWEST. I want to go to one of the YALLs but I’m awkwardly located by none of them. Haha.

THE PICTURE OF YOU AND LEIGH IS AMAZING!!!! It looks like you read some great books this month. I’ve been wanting to read Aristotle at some point. I’ve heard nothing but great things. I’m so glad you had fun at YallWest!
