I finished this book this week and I really enjoyed it! I love the shit out of these characters and the world. The relationships (both romantic and not) are amazing in this book. I think this is the weakest book out of the first three, but I still really enjoyed it. The main downfall for me was the plot was pretty slow – I don’t feel like a whole lot happened. But at the same time, I enjoyed spending more time with these characters and I’m excited to read the last book in the series (already picked it up from the library!). And yes, I finished this book in time for #tometopple 🙂
I actually listened to this book every day during my morning commute. I’ve made some good progress and things are starting to come to a head. I’m hoping to finish this audiobook this week, but at the same time I don’t have a new audiobook to start so I’m sort of putting off finishing it at the same time. Does that happen to anyone else??
I finally started reading this book! I’m not very far into it, but the beginning didn’t pull me in quite as much as I would have liked. I think I’m just still getting used to the world and getting to know the main character. More thoughts on this as I get further into it!
This book is definitely not the type of book I typically reach for. I’m reading it for my work book club, which meets this coming Wednesday. I hadn’t picked it up from the library as of Friday and I wasn’t sure if I was going to even bother to read it since I didn’t have a lot of time. I picked it up from the library on Friday and decided – what the heck! I’ll try to finish it by Wednesday. I’m making good progress so far and I think I’ll finish it in time. I’ve enjoyed the author’s sarcastic tone and so far this book has been really eye opening about start-up culture.
